The Supra EFF-ISL and EFF-IXLR is Supras bestseller when it comes to highend signal cables. EFF stands for "Equalized Frequency Flow technique", and ISL/IXLR is how the cables is used - RCA or XLR plugs.
One of the unique characteristics of these cables is the way they handle sound. They are very transparent and you get all the details in your sound, without any impact in the sound you here. Many other cables have a tendency to make the sound darker or lighter, but here your get all natural sound in the whole frequency range. Only the mighty Supra Sword ISL cable is better than this one in Supras line-up. But then the price is much higher, so with the EFF-I you get a lot for your money. Cable Versions: Supra EFF-ISL: AV-Connection delivers the cable ready to use, and in exact the lengths and the plugs you need. Primary we use the PPSL an PPX Phono RCA plugs for unbalanced cables, and Swift XLR for the balanced models. The PPSL plugs is with integrated locking system, se the cables cannot be plugged out by a mistake. The PPX plugs are the more well-known and standard RCA plugs, but still in great quality with metal housing. The PPX is a little smaller and cheaper and can therefore be the optimal choice if the space or money is limited. Supra EFF-IXLR: The balanced versions of the EDD-I cable are available with the Swift XLR plugs, and the well-known Neutrik plugs in very high and solid quality. Supra EFF-ISL-XLR: Last but not least, we also offer an adapter cable which only have XLR plugs in the one end, and normal PCR phono in the other. These are also know as semi-balanced cables, and is normally used if you have equipment where only one of the parts have XLR. In these kind of cables the positive-lead is run right through, and the negative is connected to the ground, therefor the cable don affect the or convert the signal. It works fine, but a dedicated XLR to XLR cable is of cause the best solution for high-end gear. The Supra EFF-I cable: The construction of the Supra EFF-I cable makes it very good for both normally unbalanced, semi-balanced and balanced use, both with RCA phono and XLR plugs. Supras development team took all their knowledge in use, when they developed the EFF-I cable. The dynamic interference in the sound called the "skin" effect, was take in to a count, since it has a big impact in the sound, since music is put together by a lot of different frequencies. The "skin" effect is explained like this: Low frequencies and pure DC power, always run through the all the leads. But as the frequency rises, the electrons seek outwards to the outside of the cable/leads and wants to run on the surface - there for the name "skin" effect. With the creation of the award winning EFF-I cable, Supra took the "skin" effect very serious, and therefor made the cable with two cylinder shaped leads, with a isolation of just 0.20 mm, which is just under the minimal depth skin area in the typical frequency range of sound. This means that in short, that every frequency within audio frequencies will run though the cable without any influence or noise. EFF-I cable construction: • Silverplattered OFC kobber with 0,5 mm² leads • Flexible cylinder-shaped leads with a center of PE (Polyethylen) • Two cylinder-shaped leads which is made of 12 wires/cores and have individual shielding • For both balanced and unbalanced use • 7,2 mm cable thinkness • 0,46 mm² / AWG 21 • 68 grams/meter • 38 Ohm/km • 75 pF/meter • 50 Ohm @ 1 Mhz impedance • 0,66c propagation velocity factor (66% the speed of light) Product reviews and linksHere you can see how other customers have rated the item with character, and possibly made a review. Jeg skulle bruge det til bassen i højttalere, bruger triamping. Opfylder de krav jeg havde til stram og nuanceret bas. Det kan være bedre men til prisen er de uovertruffne. Très bon câble à un prix raisonnable.
