DVB-C CA module

For receiving digital pay TV via a DVB-T tuner in a TV or DVB-C receiver, use a CA module, which acts as a card reader of the type of coding standard the channel provider uses; among others, YouSee uses Viaccess programme cards and Stofa uses Irdeto. If the TV or DVB-C receiver does not have such a card reader, use a respective CA module (Common Interface) in the receiver’s Common Interface Module (CAM) input, and this works as a translator for the payment card and the coding standard.
