These connectors maximize the benefits of Screwloc style termination by offering a twin conductor clamp that fits cable diameters up to 3.25mm. The new forte connectors are coated with 24k gold, which not only has almost as low resistivity as copper, but also importantly, does not oxidize in the air.

Installation is simple and requires few steps. Start by twisting the plastic cover off the plug using your fingers. Then loosen the two small screws on the plug. Insert the stripped speaker cable and retighten the screws to secure the cable.
