In the middle is a blade for removing the outer sheath of the cable.

After removing the outer sheath, run the cable through one of the two inputs, depending on whether it is an RG-6 or RG-59 cable.

Finally, you can screw the F-connector plug directly onto the tool and fix it a little easier on the cable.

If a compression F-connector is used, you will lastly need to use compression pliers to attach the F-connector to the cable.
