Performance XT25:

Performance XT25 takes an innovative approach to tackling the proximity effect and skin effect by combining existing Aircore and X-Tube technologies in a new variation of X-Tube. By shaping the conductors into a tube-like shape with a hollow center, current densities are maintained at higher frequencies. This is because the electric field that contributes to the glow effect acts towards the center of the conductor, where the conducting material has been removed. X-Tube technology first became known in 2005 with the launch of the world-famous Silver Anniversary XT, the most highly rated mid-range cable in the world, winning What Hi-Fi Product three years in a row. This cable also features polycore technology that reduces loop inductance and results in more high frequency detail, less distortion and greater performance.
