With Supra’s USB socket devices can be charged up to three times faster than via a standard USB connection from a PC or laptop. The charging circuit includes overload protection as well as short circuit protection. The protection circuit will automatically reset when the faulty cable ocr device is disconnected. The device is independently tested in accordance to the latest European safety and EMC standards. An extra NIF-filter is placed between the USB socket and the Schuko sockets for minimal interference.
USB Specifications • Input:100-240V,50/60Hz, 0.5A • Output: 5-12V DC, max 20W • 5.0V / 3A • 9.0V / 2.22A • 12.0V / 1.67A • Type A: Quick charge 3.0 • Type C: Power delivery 3.0 • Short circuit & surge protected Supra LoRad Mains block (10A) with USB (up to 6 outlets) Supra mains distribution block consisting of EU sockets conforming to European Standards, with the exception of UK, Ireland, Belgium and Italy. Input connector is a 10 ampere male chassis connector according to the international standard IEC-320, i.e. the same for most electrical multimedia devices with detachable power cord including ground lead. It provides a 10 ampere fuse and a non-intrusive filtering (NIF). The 10A versions are available with an addiotional switch. Requires an optional input mains flex, see our section of mains power cord sets. Switch (optional) Include also a high current in-rush capable on/off switch allowing for turning the entire equipment on or off. Practical when zero power consumption is desired. Note that the switch does not protect from surge due to e.g. lightning. Refer to mains block models containing SP; surge protection. Note also that some devices may loose their memories, when kept without mains connection. They often require to be left in stand-by mode and not completely turned off. Refer to device owner's manual for further information. Only available for the 10A versions. Supra NIF Transient Filter All models are equipped with Supra NIF (Non-Intrusive Filtering), an efficient high frequency (RFI) transient filter. It is designed and configured to efficiently suppress RFI interference, but not to dampen quick recharge demands from the connected devices power supplies. Supra NIF is developed by Ben Duncan Research in England. All filtering and all protection need a mains wall socket with a ground terminal to operate. If your multimedia- and hifi equipment is of a certain standard, they will probably require ground connection themselves and use a IEC-320 socket for detachable mains power cords. If your equipment is such and you do not have ground terminal in your mains wall sockets, we recommend you to contact your landlord and/or an electrician to arrange for ground connection. Doing so, will undoubtedly both increase sound quality and the security for your equipment. Supra LoRad shielded Mains Blocks in aluminium housing The Supra mains blocks are shielded and radiated low levels of electricity generated fields thanks to their aluminium chassis connected to ground potential. The conductive chassis drains the internal interference down to ground and prevents also adjacent RFI and other malicious fields to enter the distribution block. It has to be connected to a grounded wall socket with a mains cable providing ground lead, in order to work properly. The mains cable connecting the mains block to the wall socket and the mains cables to each device should for maximum interference dampening/immunity also be shielded. We recommend our Supra LoRad Mains Flex as the best alternative to combine with our distribution block. If you are new to the field of mains power shielding and filtering, you will undoubtedly notice the difference. Features and benefits • LoRad stands for low radiation of electric and magnetic alternating fields, keeping you and your family free from harmful influence • The screen protects your equipment from radiated mains, RF pick-up and allows you to enjoy your hi-fi set or TV's full potential • LoRad result in a cleaner sound, better picture and a more healthy home and working invironment with low levels of harmful fields • Unbeatable price-performance ratio • Made in Sweden!
