The USB-C cable type is the new standard for charging, data transfer and communication between newer portable devices or to external devices on a computer. There are a variety of adapter/converter cables that allow you to connect USB-C equipment with monitors or the like, e.g. HDMI, DVI, Displayport or USB-C to network.
Furthermore, USB-C is designed for quick charging as it may carry as much as 60 W (3A) and the high-power USB-C cable may carry up to 100W (5A). Connection to the charger is usually done with a
USB-A to USB-C cables for a
standard USB 230V charger, or through
