Banana plug :

The new Forté plug is designed to maximize the contact area over the wide tolerance range found in 4mm amplifier and speaker plugs. With a spring-loaded Forté blade, the plug fits into both smaller and larger plugs with the same insertion force. This ensures that the contact area is maximized and the connection remains uniformly tight. The connectors are gold plated with 24k gold to eliminate oxidation, ensuring a lifelong low resistance connection.
