The Saxo series from Danish System Audio is their cheapest speaker series, but this cannot be heard in any way - on the contrary. The series consists of a large number of different models and sizes, where the recurring theme is minimalist Danish design and lots of good sound for the money. The Saxo series offers both bookshelf speakers, wall models, a subwoofer and, of course, larger floor models for those who want maximum sound in the home, without stealing all the space and attention. Common to all the loudspeakers in the Saxo series is that they use System Audio's advanced DXT treble technology and are available in matt white or matt black finish. In addition, they all come with magnetic front fabric. With the Saxo series from Danish System Audio, you have the opportunity to step into real Hi-fi, without it overturning the entire budget, and get plenty of delicious sound for very little money. A funny detail is that the name Saxo comes from the historian Saxo Grammaticus, who wrote down the first history of Denmark in the 13th century.
Saxo 5 - Bookshelf speaker
Just above the smaller Saxo 1, we find the physically larger Saxo 5 speaker, which is still a compact model. The bass/midrange has been replaced with a larger 5.25" model to give the speaker even more punch and bass reproduction than its little brother. However, we are still dealing with an extremely compact bookshelf speaker, which can also be used on stands or even hung on the wall when purchased of wall mounts. Saxo 5 uses the same DXT treble technology as the rest of the Saxo series, to deliver a well-resolved and open reproduction of the high frequencies, whether it's movies or music. Saxo can be used by itself for stereo, or paired up with a subwoofer for an even more impressive experience. You can of course also choose to use the Saxo 5 as rear speakers in a surround system - the possibilities are many with this exciting and compact speaker.
