Compared to the cheaper XT and Signature E series, the Reserve offers a wide range of different technologies that help to lift the sound even more. The Reserve series offers, among other things, Polks Power Port 2.0, which is a specially developed bass port, which reproduces the low frequencies even better than the first generation found on the Signature E series. In addition, all units in the Reserve speakers have also been overhauled, so that we find their special Pinnacle Ring Radiator tweeter, which is the result of more than 40 years of development at Polk.
The Reserve series is also the cheapest series from Polk, which uses their patented Turbine Cone design for the bass/midrange, which is roughly a special design of the diaphragm which makes the air/sound move more correctly, which gives even better and more well-resolved sound. These things are common to all the speakers in the Reserve series, all the way down from the smallest compact speakers and up to the large floor models. The Reserve series is available in the colors black or white, and all come with solid nickel-plated screw terminals.
