The bracket can be placed close to the wall, but you can also move it 25 mm away from the wall for better acoustics or to make it easier to reach the buttons on top. If you are not a hero with installation, it is not a problem. A notch in the bracket shows exactly the center so you can adjust it with your TV.
By using four openings in the wall plate, you can straighten the SONOS BEAM, even after drilling. If there is exactly one joint in the way when drilling, then these slots also provide sufficient alternatives for the SONOS BEAM to be placed exactly in the middle of the TV.
