The Q Acoustics Concept 50 is designed to deliver an uncompromising listening experience, eliminating unwanted resonances and vibrations to ensure precise and undisturbed sound. The advanced Gelcore™ technology incorporates a unique, non-hardening gel between two MDF layers, effectively absorbing high-frequency vibrations from the drivers and preventing noise contamination in the cabinet. This ensures a pure, distortion-free sound even at high volume levels. To further optimize cabinet rigidity, P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing is employed to eliminate low-frequency vibrations. Using Finite Element Analysis, Q Acoustics has precisely identified areas requiring additional reinforcement, ensuring a tight and focused bass response. The Concept 50 also features HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer™) technology, which balances internal cabinet pressure and eliminates standing waves. These waves can cause uneven frequency response and distort bass, but HPE™ technology ensures a balanced and precise low-frequency reproduction.

The Concept 50 is equipped with two specially designed 5” (125 mm) mid/bass drivers and a 25 mm tweeter. A larger 30.5 mm voice coil increases motor strength, improving power handling by 50% compared to standard drivers. This results in deeper, more controlled bass and a more dynamic performance. The tweeter is mechanically isolated from the cabinet and hermetically sealed, ensuring that it remains unaffected by vibrations from the mid/bass drivers. This reduces distortion and ensures crisp, detailed high-frequency reproduction. With a broad frequency response from 42 Hz to 30 kHz, every nuance in the music is captured accurately—from the deepest bass notes to the finest details in the treble.

Vibration-Free Construction with Isolation Base:

To eliminate both external and internal vibrations, the Concept 50 is mounted on a specially designed isolation base. This base uses a suspension system with small spheres that effectively isolate the speaker from the floor, preventing vibrations from interfering with the soundstage. This ensures a tighter and more precise audio reproduction with improved stereo imaging and depth. The isolation base also allows the speaker to perform consistently in different room environments, regardless of flooring material.
