Highlights:• Complete dual mono design with two toroidal core power supply transformers and two Ncore modules for exceptional channel separation and sound quality.• High power output up to 260 W + 260 W at 4 Ohm and 170 W + 170 W at 8 Ohm for dynamic and powerful sound reproduction. • Effective vibration control with a flexible structure and fan-free design for optimal heat dissipation and noise reduction. • Comprehensive design for vibration control and sound quality features, including TEAC's original pin-point feet and direct cable routing. • Low-profile design for new placement options in the home or workplace, enhanced with practical features such as trigger input and large VU meters. Teac AP-701 Power Amplifier:Represents the culmination of advanced audiophile engineering with its complete dual mono design. From input to output, each channel is completely separate, eliminating interference between left and right signals and ensuring exceptional channel separation. This results in a rich sound reproduction that creates a larger soundstage and a more three-dimensional sound experience. With Hypex Ncore amplifier modules, it delivers both high efficiency and exceptional sound quality, precisely conveying the original musical expression from the delicate pianissimo to the powerful fortissimo. The design is vibration-free thanks to a flexible structure and a fan-free design, which together ensure an open and vibrating sound reproduction. In addition, TEAC's dedication to sound quality continues with features designed to minimize loss of signal clarity and improve the durability of the input circuits. This state-of-the-art appliance also offers a reduced height and depth, giving greater freedom of placement in any room.Specifications:• Output power: 260W + 260W (4 Ohm), 170W + 170W (8 Ohm)• Total harmonic distortion: 0.003% (8 Ohm, 1kHz, 55W) • S/N ratio: 110dB (8 Ohm, 1kHz, IHF-A) • Frequency response: 10Hz to 50,000Hz (+0dB, –6dB) • Input: Balanced XLR × 1 pair, Unbalanced RCA × 1 pair • Output: Screw type × 1 pair (gold-plated, compatible with Banana plug) • External control: Trigger input and output (12V) • Dimensions: (WxHxD) 44.4 × 11.13 × 34.82 cm • Weight: 9.9kg Product reviews and links
Brand description - Teac
TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. As a result, the company was restructured and became known as Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company, or TEAC, as it is known today.
