This cartridge combines high performance with ease of use, making it simple to upgrade from a moving magnet cartridge to a moving coil model. Its new pure iron cross-armature design ensures low crosstalk and proper impedance, while the ultra-fine enamelled copper windings deliver higher output and precise signal transfer.The Eroica HX features a Gyger II diamond stylus that can trace even the highest frequencies up to 50 kHz without distortion. This provides a detailed and accurate sound experience, highlighting the music’s dynamics and stereo imaging. The cartridge housing is made of lightweight and rigid Pocan® material, which eliminates unwanted tonal coloration, ensuring a neutral sound reproduction. Installation is straightforward and requires no system adjustments. The cartridge works with standard tonearm mounting and is compatible with straight, S-shaped, and J-shaped tonearms made of aluminum and carbon fiber.
