Highlights:• Multi-material hybrid design dampens unwanted vibrations• PRS3 belt structure supports accurate and stable plate rotation • 20mm thick acrylic plate improves the sound quality • Reliable tracking with the SAEC × TEAC collaboration Knife-Edge tonearm • Automatic arm lift when playback ends • Includes Ortofon 2M RED as standard MM pickup • XLR balanced output connectors optimal for balanced MC transmission Product textThis state-of-the-art turntable combines excellence in audio technology with unrivaled design. With a hybrid chassis structure consisting of a heavy 36mm MDF base plate and a 12mm synthetic marble plate, excellent rigidity and vibration suppression is achieved. This ensures minimal transmission of vibrations from the motor to the tone arm, resulting in undisturbed sound reproduction. The unique use of Japanese washi paper between the synthetic marble and MDF contributes to an optimal sound balance, drawing the essence out of vinyl playback. The PRS3 belt structure guarantees an accurate and stable plate rotation, while the 20mm thick acrylic plate promotes a clear sound. The collaboration with SAEC has resulted in a Knife-Edge tonearm that ensures reliable tracking. This turntable is equipped with an automatic arm lift function that makes use convenient, and PC-Triple C conductor material promotes exceptional signal transmission. Ortofon 2M RED pickup and XLR balanced output connectors complete this sophisticated sound system, designed to significantly enhance your listening experience.Specifications:• Drive system: Rotation-detecting high-precision control belt drive• Motor: DC motor • Rotation speed: 33-?rpm, 45rpm, 78prm • Plates: Acrylic, 30cm diameter • Arm type: Static-balanced S-shaped tone arm • Effective arm length: 223mm< • Suitable cartridge weight: 3.0 to 12.0g (14 to 23g including head-shell) • Type: MM • Output voltage: 5.5 mV (1kHz, 5cm/s) • Tracking force: 1.8g • Balanced Output: XLR × 1 pair • Unbalanced Output: RCA × 1 pair • Power consumption: 2.0W or less (0.3W in standby) • Dimensions (W×H×D): 45.0 × 14.8 × 35.1 cm (with dust cap closed) • Weight: approx. 10.5 kg

TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. In 1956, an engineer named Katsuma Tani and his brother had the idea to develop an improved reel-to-reel tape recorder based on their experiences with similar products. As a result, the company was restructured and became known as Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company, or TEAC, as it is known today.
Their products, which include tape recorders, turntables, and floppy drives, are well-known among many audio enthusiasts and have survived alongside the digital age. TEAC is synonymous with quality and thoroughness at reasonable prices.
When purchasing a Teac product, a user guide or instruction is usually provided in the following languages: English. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a printed manual / user guide is included in the product box, but most often it can be found on the manufacturer´s website.
