Highlights:• Hypex Ncore amplifier module, fine-tuned by TEAC, delivers powerful sound• Elegant and space-saving design with robust aluminum alloy panels • Fully balanced circuit design ensures extremely low distortion and excellent signal-to-noise ratio • 'Pin-Point' feet minimize vibrations for improved sound stage • Passive cooling design for quiet operation and analog level indicators for visual feedback AP-505-S Stereo Power Amplifier:The AP-505 is a versatile, TEAC-tuned stereo power amplifier that uses Hypex Ncore technology wrapped in a compact and elegant cabinet. Its lightweight aluminum alloy panels cover a robust steel chassis. Large level indicators add an interesting visual effect, while TEAC's patented 'pin-point' feet placed strategically underneath sharpen the sound and create a more detailed and stable stereo image. The AP-505 features high-performance, energy-efficient Hypex Ncore power amplifier module, producing 130W + 130W in stereo/bi-amp modes or 250W in BTL mode, driven by an array of speakers to reproduce the dynamic nuances of real music. The fully balanced circuit design ensures low distortion and excellent signal-to-noise ratio, while carefully selected components and a high-capacity toroidal transformer ensure clear soundstage separation and stable power supply. The AP-505's passive cooling design ensures quiet operation, while the dual analogue level indicators provide visual feedback on the amplifier's performance.Specifications:• Maximum output power: 130W + 130W (4 Ohm, 1kHz, JEITA), 90W + 90W (8 Ohm, 1kHz, JEITA) in Stereo, Bi-amp modes; 250W (8 Ohm, 1kHz, JEITA) in BTL mode• Total harmonic distortion: 0.0015% (8 Ohm, 1kHz, 12.5W, JEITA) • Signal-to-noise ratio: 113dB (8 Ohm, 1kHz, IHF-A) • Frequency response: 10Hz to 50,000Hz (+0dB, –5dB, 8 Ohm, 1W, JEITA) • Attenuation factor: 370 or higher, JEITA (20Hz to 20kHz, Output impedance: 22mO, 8 Ohm loaded) • Input section: XLR (Balanced) and RCA Pin (Unbalanced) • Speaker outputs: Screw type × 1 set (gold plated, AWG8 and Banana plug compatible) • Power consumption: 106W, Standby power: 0.1W or less (in Auto power saving mode) • Dimensions: 29.0 × 8.45 × 27.1 cm. Brand description - Teac
TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. In 1956, an engineer named Katsuma Tani and his brother had the idea to develop an improved reel-to-reel tape recorder based on their experiences with similar products. As a result, the company was restructured and became known as Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company, or TEAC, as it is known today. Manuals and user guides for Teac productsWhen purchasing a Teac product, a user guide or instruction is usually provided in the following languages: English. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a printed manual / user guide is included in the product box, but most often it can be found on the manufacturer´s website.
