Highlights:• Fully balanced circuit design significantly improves signal quality.• High precision RIAA EQ circuit with less than ±0.05dB deviation. • Supports individual EQ curves for DECCA and COLUMBIA monaural records. • Switchable MC impedance and MM load capacity for optimal adaptation. • Advanced noise reduction ensures a signal-to-noise ratio of up to 106dB. • Built-in DEMAG function for refreshing cartridges. PE-505 Balanced MM/MC RIAA Preamplifier:presents exceptional sound quality through its fully balanced circuit design, from the main amplifier, equalizer amplifier sections to the buffer amplifier section at the final output stage. This ensures that even the faintest sound signals from a cartridges are preserved in their purest form. Any unbalanced signal via the conventional RCA input is converted to differential processing mode immediately after the input terminals, absorbing errors on the balanced output and delivering a more accurate audio signal. The newly developed NF-type equalizer amplifier minimizes the RIAA deviation to less than ±0.05dB, guaranteeing accurate sound reproduction over the entire frequency spectrum from 20Hz to 20kHz. With an impressive signal-to-noise ratio of 106dB for the RCA input and 86dB for the XLR input, along with sophisticated features such as switchable MC impedance, MM load capability, and a unique load resistance measurement function, the PE-505 sets new standards for sound quality in his class. The addition of subsonic detection, a subsonic filter, and a DEMAG function to demagnetize the pickup underscores the PE-505's commitment to delivering the purest sound experience. Whether it's modern RIAA curves or individual EQ curves for monaural records Specifications:• Fully differential input/output circuitry• High precision RIAA EQ circuit with less than 0.05dB deviation • Supports individual EQ curves for DECCA and COLUMBIA monaural records • Switchable MC impedance (10, 22, 47, 100, 220, 470, 1kO) • Switchable MM load capacitance (0, 100, 220, 330pF) • MC load impedance measurement function • Switchable MM/MC gain (High/Low) • Subsonic detection and filter (17Hz, –24dB/octave) • Included accessories: Power cable × 1, Foot pads × 3, User manual × 1 Product reviews and links
Brand description - Teac
TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. In 1956, an engineer named Katsuma Tani and his brother had the idea to develop an improved reel-to-reel tape recorder based on their experiences with similar products. As a result, the company was restructured and became known as Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company, or TEAC, as it is known today. Manuals and user guides for Teac productsWhen purchasing a Teac product, a user guide or instruction is usually provided in the following languages: English. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a printed manual / user guide is included in the product box, but most often it can be found on the manufacturer´s website.
