This ensures maximum musical expression across a wide spectrum of musical genres. With carefully selected components designed specifically for hi-fi applications, from MUSE operational amplifiers in the analogue section to step-resistor type volume controls, TEAC's engineers have carefully selected all key components from hi-fi suitable ranges. The AX-505 is equipped with XLR balanced inputs and a CCLC headphone amplifier circuit that offers excellent channel separation and linear sound reproduction. A large capacity toroidal transformer and Schottky barrier diodes ensure a clean and stable power supply. The passive cooling and the full metal body guarantee not only quiet operation but also the system's rigidity, stability and elegance. With its compact design and user-friendly interface, including a remote control for precise volume control, the AX-505 is the ideal solution for any modern listening environment.Specifications:• Maximum output power: 130W + 130W (4 Ohm, 1kHz, JEITA)• Total harmonic distortion: 0.002% (8 Ohm, 1kHz, 12.5W, JEITA) • Signal-to-noise ratio: 110dB (8 Ohm, 1kHz, IHF-A) • Frequency response: 10Hz to 50kHz (-5dB, 8 Ohm, 1W, JEITA) • Input: XLR (Balanced) × 1 pair, RCA (gold-plated) × 3 pairs • Headphone output: 1/8" (3.5mm) 4-pole stereo jack, Ground separate • Power consumption: 110W, Standby <0.1W (in Auto-power saving mode) • Dimensions: (W × H × D) 29.0 × 8.12 × 26.4 cm • Weight: 4.2kg Product reviews and links
Brand description - Teac
TEAC was founded in Japan in 1953 under the name Tokyo Television Acoustic Company. In 1956, an engineer named Katsuma Tani and his brother had the idea to develop an improved reel-to-reel tape recorder based on their experiences with similar products. As a result, the company was restructured and became known as Tokyo Electro-Acoustic Company, or TEAC, as it is known today. Manuals and user guides for Teac productsWhen purchasing a Teac product, a user guide or instruction is usually provided in the following languages: English. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee that a printed manual / user guide is included in the product box, but most often it can be found on the manufacturer´s website.
