Rotel's new RMB-1585MKII 5-channel amplifier continues the legacy of producing high-powered, perfectionist amplifiers for multi-channel systems. Following Rotel's updated MKII design architecture, the RMB-1585MKII incorporates both circuit and component upgrades, achieving ultra-low distortion, high amplification, and signal isolation. This delivers multi-channel audio with ultimate precision and clarity.

The Class AB RMB-1585MKII is built around two massive toroidal transformers designed to supply stable current to an array of 8 high-efficiency energy storage capacitors. This power supply architecture delivers rich and deep bass energy with absolute control, even when driving the most demanding speakers.

For optimal cooling, the RMB-1585MKII is equipped with 4 thermostat-controlled, variable-speed ultra-low-noise fans. It also has a rear panel switch to select the regular 5-channel mode or Bi-Amp mode. This unique setup allows for a separate amplifier channel for the left and right channel HF and LF drivers, resulting in improved dynamics and enhanced resolution from compatible speakers.

The RMB-1585MKII is specifically designed for home theaters and custom installations. It also features auto-switching XLR balanced and RCA inputs to ensure compatibility with any AV Processor or home theater receiver preamp output. Additionally, a 12 V trigger input and output provide simplified power control. For those who want to mount it, detachable rack mounting hardware is available for mounting in standard 19" equipment racks.
