Pick it MM 5 is an exclusive Moving Magnet cartridge, developed in collaboration with Ortofon and fine-tuned by Pro-Ject Audio Systems. The nude elliptical stylus ensures exceptional precision, allowing even the smallest musical details to stand out. With Ortofon’s advanced split pole pins technology, this cartridge achieves a flat frequency response, a feature typically reserved for Moving Coil cartridges. The robust cantilever, inspired by DJ cartridges, enhances stability and tracking accuracy, making it ideal for tonearms with low to medium mass. Installation is simple thanks to the 1/2" standard mounting with threaded inserts, eliminating the need for nuts. Pick it MM 5 delivers a spacious and dynamic soundstage where instruments are precisely placed, and vocals remain clear and distinct. The stylus is replaceable, ensuring an extended lifespan.
