B&O Celestial BOC106 - Powerful flagship built-in speaker in the Celestial series

The top model in the Celestial series from B&O offers an eminent and impressive sound experience that cannot be compared with many other built-in speakers on the market. Just like the model right below it, here we find a true 3-way speaker with impressively big sound, relative to its size. The tweeter is delivered by a 1" soft dome made of silk, the midrange features a dedicated 4" unit, and last but not least, there is a large and heavy 10" bass unit with a fiberglass membrane, which means the BOC106 can reproduce frequencies all the way down from 28 Hz up to 20,000 Hz - here we are talking floor speaker territory, but for direct ceiling mounting!

The tweeter and midrange units in the BOC106 can also be angled as desired, to provide the best possible and absolutely great sound experience. With a built-in depth of 158 mm, the BOC106 is certainly not a small speaker, so be aware if you have enough space for a speaker of this size. The power requirement is 50-200 watts, which means that the Celestial BOC106 can be driven with a relatively small amplifier, despite its size and enormous performance. You will, of course, get the best result by pairing the BOC106 with a serious HiFi amplifier with some power - preferably 120 watts per channel or more. With two or more of these speakers in the ceiling, you are set for a truly great sound experience, also in larger rooms and without dedicated subwoofers. All necessary accessories are naturally included in the box, so you can quickly and painlessly achieve the cool and great sound experience at home.
